Activating assistants and plan limits

A new assistant needs to be activated before anyone can pick it in a conversation. Open the assistant and click Activate. Deactivating one doesn’t delete it — its configuration stays exactly as it was, it’s just no longer selectable in chat until you activate it again. You can also delete an assistant you no longer need at all.

Set as default makes an assistant the one your workspace starts new conversations with — it doesn’t have to be the Business Assistant; any active assistant you’ve created can take its place.

Your plan sets a limit on custom assistants — the Business Assistant is included on every plan and never counts against it:

The limit applies when you activate an assistant, not when you create it — you can keep drafts around past your limit, but you’ll need to free up a slot (or upgrade) before one of them can go live.
