Think Harder

If a reply feels too shallow, Think Harder re-runs that turn one mode deeper — for example, from Thinking up to Research. If a reply is already using Thought Partner (the deepest mode), Think Harder has nowhere further to go and is disabled. See Chat modes for what each mode changes.

Pin a message

Pinning keeps a message easy to find again later in a long conversation. Any message can be pinned — including one someone else sent — and any participant can unpin it. It’s a shared bookmark for the conversation, not a personal one.

Delete and edit your own messages

• Delete — you can delete your own messages. You’ll be asked to confirm before it’s removed.
• Edit — you can edit your own messages, but only within one hour of sending them. After that, the option disappears.

You can’t delete or edit messages sent by someone else, or by the assistant.

Verify a citation

When a reply cites a source, you can open that citation to check exactly which document (or part of it) backs the claim. This is separate from the Sources Used card mentioned in Send your first message — verifying looks at one citation in detail, rather than the full list.

The trust badge

Assistant replies carry a small trust badge showing how many guardrail checks the reply passed, out of how many ran. Click it to open the audit trail for that reply — the same underlying record your organization’s governance and compliance views draw on.

Compare, and what happens if you keep the new answer

Compare (from the two-minute tour) generates an alternative answer alongside the original so you can look at both before deciding. While you’re comparing, the alternative is temporary — it isn’t added to the conversation.

• If you keep the alternative, it replaces the original in the conversation, and that choice sticks — it’s still there if you come back later.
• If you don’t act on it (you close the comparison or move on), only the original answer remains. Nothing is saved from the comparison.
