Create a collection and upload documents
Click + New Knowledge from the Knowledge area to create a collection. Give it a name and an optional description, then upload documents by dragging them in or clicking Browse.
Uploading isn’t the only way to fill a collection. Add Source also lets you crawl a web page or pull documents in from SharePoint. However a document arrives, the limits below apply to it.
Limits
Section titled “Limits”- Up to 30 MB per file.
- Up to 5 files per upload — if you have more, upload in batches.
- Up to 5 documents per collection in total. Once a collection is full, start a new one for more documents.
- Supported types: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, CSV, TXT, MD, JSON, XML, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBM.
What happens after you upload
Section titled “What happens after you upload”Every document is checked for malware and sensitive data before it’s added to the collection. If a file fails that check, it’s rejected outright and you’ll see an error — it never partially appears in the collection while being scanned.
