The audit log

Tenant Admins have an audit log in tenant settings, covering three areas:

  • General Activity — sign-ins and account-level events, with who did what and when.
  • Settings Changes — a record of configuration changes across the workspace, including who made them.
  • Conversational Activity — a log of messages sent across the workspace, attributed to the person who sent them.

Every tab can be filtered and exported as CSV.

Roles and visibility

Your workspace has two roles: Tenant Admin and Member. Governance capability sits with Tenant Admins — they can review activity across the workspace, including message activity and, through Conversational Replay, a member’s full conversation history. Members have visibility into their own work, not the workspace as a whole.

If you’re a Member, the practical version is: Chat is a governed work system, and your organization can review how it’s being used.
