Data export and account deletion
Two things you’re entitled to under most data-protection regimes — getting your data out, and having it deleted — are handled in the product rather than through a support request. This page covers both, for an individual and for a workspace.
Export your own data
Section titled “Export your own data”From My Account → Data & Privacy, Export your data downloads a copy of your account data — your profile and your conversation list — as a JSON file. It’s yours to keep, and nothing about your account changes when you take it.
See User settings.
Export your workspace’s member data
Section titled “Export your workspace’s member data”A Tenant Admin can export the full member list from Members and roles as a CSV. It’s the record to reach for when someone asks who had access to the workspace and how much they used it.
The file contains one row per member:
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Name | The member’s display name |
| The address they sign in with | |
| Role | Member or Tenant Admin |
| Status | Whether the account is active |
| Last Active | When they last used Chat |
| Tokens Used | Their consumption in the current period |
| Token Limit | The allowance they were given |
| Usage % | Consumption against that allowance |
Delete your account
Section titled “Delete your account”If you’re a Member, you can delete your own account from My Account → Data & Privacy. You don’t need an admin to do it for you.
Chat asks you to confirm, and to say who should inherit the work you’ve shared with other people:
Delete your account?
Your account will be locked immediately and you will not be able to sign in. After 30 days, your personal settings, chats, folders, knowledge, and memory will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone. Export your data first if you need a copy.
Select a tenant administrator who will receive ownership of your shared chats, folders, and knowledge.
What happens, and when
Section titled “What happens, and when”| When | What happens |
|---|---|
| Immediately | Your account is locked. You’re signed out and can’t sign back in, and to everyone else in the workspace you’re gone. |
| Immediately | Your shared chats, folders, and knowledge collections pass to the Tenant Admin you selected, so the people who were working in them keep their access. |
| After 30 days | Your personal settings, chats, folders, knowledge, and memory are permanently deleted. |
If you’re a Tenant Admin
Section titled “If you’re a Tenant Admin”Tenant Admins can’t self-delete. A workspace always needs an administrator, and removing the last one would leave its members with no way to manage their own data. Contact SUPERWISE support, who’ll work through it with you — usually by handing the role to another administrator first.
